What Is Winter Canvassing?

During colder months when temperatures drop below 32 degrees for 3 or more consecutive hours, winter canvassing volunteers join us to distribute supplies, do wellness checks, inform people of their options for getting indoors, and provide rides to Metro's Overflow Shelter and shuttle stops.

Winter canvassing is one of the key ways we look out for our neighbors on the coldest nights, and we can't do it without you. Stay updated on our social media pages, and sign up below to receive updates when we need more volunteers.
