Winter Canvassing Training

Winter canvassing is one of the most critical parts of our outreach work and relies heavily on volunteer participation! Whenever the temperature drops below freezing, OTN canvasses in the downtown area to ensure folks experiencing homelessness know available shelter options and have the supplies they need to stay warm and make it to the next morning. This training will better equip you to engage and support our friends on the streets during winter and to help with outreach canvassing efforts on Nashville’s coldest nights.
